Answer :

104 = 2³× 13
96 = 2⁵× 3
HCF = 8
(a) Number of rows of students of class X = 104/8
= 13
Number maximum of rows class IX = 96/8
= 12
Total number of rows = 13 + 12 = 25
(b) No. of students of class IX in a row = 8
No. of students of class X in a row = 8
