Question :

Can matter change its state?Submitted on 23/8/2024 | Answered by Vandana Rana

Answer :

Temperatures change:
Temperature rise, and particles’ kinetic energy increases, making them move with more energy.
The attraction force between particles also decreases.
They begin to move freely and break away from their original positions.
This results in liquids.
Liquids also undergo phase changes to become a gas, similar to liquids.
Pressure changes:
As pressure is applied, the interparticle spacing between matter particles decreases.
A solid can be transformed into a liquid by applying pressure and decreasing temperature.
