1. The hypothalamus activates the sympathetic nervous system and releases adrenaline from the adrenal gland.
2. The adrenaline causes an increase in heart-pumping rate, breathing rate.
3. It also causes increased blood pressure, Dilation of the pupil, etc.
4) It suppresses the activities of the digestive system and reproductive system for that particular time.
