Given that, the child reshapes cone with a sphere.So, the volume of sphere = Volume of cone.
Height of cone h = 24 cm
and radius of cone = r = 6 cm
⇒4/3 π r³ = 1/3 π r²h
⇒ 4 r³ = 6×6×24
⇒ r³ = 6××6×6
⇒r = 6
Hence, radius of the sphere = 6 cm
